Upcoming Events as of June 2009

As I work on defining the ‘voice’ of the blog, we’ll get started by giving you an update on upcoming events:

• #17 in Baton Rouge on August 1, 2009
• #16 in South Florida on August 8, 2009
• #19 in East Iowa on October 10, 2009
• #22 in Pensacola on June 5, 2010 (yes, 2010!)

We’re also working on the venue for #21 in Orlando sometime in October, the event won’t live (per our own guidelines) until we have the date and venue locked in.

Launching the SQLSaturday Blog

I’ve been blogging about SQLSaturday on my main blog It Depends since we started the event concept in 2007, probably long overdue to break that out. So, going forward we’ll post news about events, thoughts on SQLSaturday, and stuff that seems related. I don’t have a good feel yet for how often I’ll be posting – let’s say that to start with we’ll shoot for one post a week and see if that is high or low!
